Carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere, such as carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), and more. It can come from transportation, household activities, clothing and food consumed.

As technology consumption increases, power consumption increases, and the rate at which tech is consumed increases. This means more waste and worse environmental conditions. So watch how much time you spend on your iPad!

Recycling is an important aspect in keeping a sustainable environment. However, only 49% of people in Ottawa recycle! To get this number higher, you can start recycling too!

Whenever your light is on, or your TV is playing, or when you're in the shower, energy is being used to maximize your experience. To avoid energy waste, turn off your devices and sources of light and water when you're not using them!
